What this file is

The register behind the Sherpa Directory "European PPA Offtakers", as data you can filter, join and load into your own models. One row for every buyer record of a power purchase agreement for a European generating asset first announced between 1 January 2024 and 25 September 2026: the buyer and its group, the seller, the asset country, technology, volume, tenor and structure where announced, and the sources.

Alongside the deals: the corporate and public buyer groups with sector, headquarters, listing, website and RE100 status; the sellers; and the law firms, PPA advisers and brokers, lenders and other advisers named on the contracts, with the side each acted for.

Every value is as announced. A blank means the term was not announced, and nothing is estimated. Deal numbers and IDs match the directory and stay the same in every update.

What you receive

An Excel workbook with a Read me sheet that explains every column and counting rule, plus the same tables as CSV files that load without cleaning. Deal numbers and IDs match the European PPA Offtakers directory and stay the same in every update.

How this file was put together

  • What is included — PPAs for generating assets in the EU-27, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova, first announced 1 January 2024 to 25 September 2026, that name a buyer.
  • As announced, never estimated — A blank means the term was not announced. Volumes are never converted between units, and a plant-level figure is never attributed to one buyer.
  • Every record sourced — Every buyer record carries at least one link to the announcement it rests on.
  • Updates — Update plans receive a refreshed file with the same IDs and columns, and a list of records added, changed and removed.

Sources

Every buyer record links to the announcements it rests on: company press releases, stock-exchange filings and trade press. Data as at 25 September 2026.
