A2A Energia acquires 51% stake in NetCity from SunCity Group

A2A Energia SpA has acquired a 51% stake in NetCity Srl from SunCity Group Srl, allowing A2A Energia to increase its ownership in the company to 100%. NetCity specializes in the installation and maintenance of energy efficiency solutions for residential and small business clients. With this acquisition, SunCity Group will exit the residential segment and focus on the industrial sector and the development of Renewable Energy Communities (CER). The resources freed up from this transaction will contribute to accelerating SunCity Group's growth plan in the development and realization of CER. A2A Energia's acquisition of NetCity is expected to strengthen its position in the energy efficiency market. The deal is part of A2A Energia's strategy to expand its services in the energy sector.
