ACS and Global Infrastructure Partners have formed a 50/50 joint venture named Coravel to develop and operate next‑generation data centers. The new company will launch with a portfolio of projects totaling 1.2 GW across Europe, the United States and Australia. Its first commercial contract is a hyperscaler‑backed data center campus in the Dallas‑Fort Worth region of Texas, comprising an initial 140 MW of critical compute load with optional expansion of about 100 MW. The partnership combines ACS’s construction and engineering expertise with GIP’s investment capital, backed by BlackRock’s infrastructure platform, positioning Coravel to meet rising digital infrastructure demand. The joint venture will be managed by Howard Boville and will roll out phased construction through 2028, with Turner handling the Texas build.
