Actis acquires Klara Renewables from CVC DIF

Actis has agreed to acquire Klara Renewables, a Poland-based onshore wind farm operator, from CVC DIF. The acquisition includes six operational onshore wind farms totaling 171 MW, located across Wielkopolska, Kujawy-Pomorze, and Podlasie. The wind farms are backed by contracts for difference running until 2038 and 2039, with approximately 275 MW of hybridization potential through co-located solar PV and battery energy storage systems. Actis plans to expand the platform through the acquisition and development of additional late-stage wind, solar, and battery storage projects, utilizing the existing grid connections. The acquisition marks Actis' first investment in Poland and its second renewable energy platform in Central and Eastern Europe. Actis aims to build a high-quality generation platform to support Poland's energy transition and competitiveness.
