Aiko entered a 1.2GW supply agreement with Infinity Power to deliver all-back-contact solar modules for the latter's Nefer Menya solar-plus-storage project in Egypt. The deal marks Aiko's first major supply contract in the Middle East and North Africa region, positioning the company to expand its footprint in high-growth markets. Infinity Power, a joint venture between Infinity Power Holding and Masdar, will develop the 1.2GW project as part of Egypt's renewable energy expansion plans. The modules will be supplied under a long-term agreement, ensuring stable procurement for the project's construction phase. The agreement was announced during PV ModuleTech USA 2026, highlighting the growing demand for high-efficiency solar modules in utility-scale projects.
