Aker Solutions signs supply agreement with Tussa Energi for Tussa II hydropower plant

Aker Solutions has secured a contract to supply all electromechanical equipment to Tussa Energi for the Tussa II hydropower plant, a 150 MW project in western Norway. The new plant will use the 637 m head between the Tyssevatn reservoir and the Storfjorden, featuring two 75 MW Pelton turbines. Delivery is planned for 2030, with the existing 64 MW facility to be modernised and kept in operation as additional capacity. The deal expands Aker Solutions’ power solutions portfolio and supports Tussa Energi’s capacity expansion in the Norwegian market. The contract will be recorded as order intake in Aker Solutions’ ‘Other’ segment in Q2 2026.
