Aldesa to build 420 MWp solar plant with 150 MW BESS in Mexico

Aldesa, a subsidiary of the Chinese group CRCC, has been awarded a turnkey contract to construct a solar power project in Mexico. The project will feature 420 MWp of photovoltaic capacity and a 150 MW battery energy storage system (BESS). The contract, valued at over 160 million euros (approximately 183 million dollars), includes detailed engineering, construction, equipment supply, and commissioning. The infrastructure will connect to the grid at 400 kV and involve over 24 km of transmission lines and new substations.
