Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (ARLP) agreed to acquire general partner and limited partner interests in AllDale Minerals III, L.P. and AllDale Minerals IV, L.P. for $206.2 million, valuing the two entities at approximately $410 million. The transaction will increase ARLP’s economic ownership in AllDale III and IV from an estimated 5% to 61% upon completion, with ARLP also expected to attain full ownership of the entities’ general partner interests through a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal is anticipated to close in July 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and approval by the conflicts committee of ARLP’s general partner’s board. The acquisition expands ARLP’s mineral ownership footprint across major U.S. oil and gas producing regions, including the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, Bakken formation, and Haynesville natural gas region. The Permian Basin alone accounts for about 7,300 net royalty acres and contributed 52% of total royalty revenue during the first quarter of 2026, with ARLP expecting to control approximately 115,680 net royalty acres post-transaction, including over 44,770 acres in the Permian Basin.
