Amarenco acquires TotalEnergies Renouvelables France's 50% stake in Énergie Développement

Amarenco announced the acquisition of the 50% stake held by TotalEnergies Renouvelables France in the joint venture Énergie Développement. The transaction gives Amarenco control of a portfolio that produced 98 GWh in 2025 and consists of photovoltaic projects each under 10 MW, located in South‑West France. The acquired assets are added to Amarenco's existing 1.3 GW of solar capacity, supporting its goal to reach 1 GW of capacity and 1 TWh of production within two years. TotalEnergies Renouvelables France sold the stake as part of its strategy to focus exclusively on large‑scale solar and wind farms. No financial value was disclosed for the deal.
