Amarenco partners with Vivescia to develop 15 MW of solar projects on underutilized agricultural land in France

French solar developer Amarenco formed a partnership with Vivescia, a major French agricultural cooperative, to develop eight ground-mounted solar photovoltaic projects totaling 15 MWc on underutilized agricultural land. The projects, each exceeding 500 kWc, are located across three French departments: two in the Ardennes (Amagne and Attigny), four in the Marne (Matougues, Nuisement-sur-Coole, Somme-Tourbe, and Sommesous), and two in the Aube (Châtres and Onjon). Amarenco will handle all aspects of project development, including studies, administrative procedures, financing, construction, operations and maintenance, and decommissioning, while bearing all associated risks. Vivescia will contribute by providing land access and supporting local engagement, land security, and site intervention coordination.
