Ameresco Sunel Energy SA signed a supply agreement to act as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for a 58 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Iratosu, Arad County, Romania, owned by TDI Renewables Ltd. The Iratosu facility will be built under the joint venture Ameresco Sunel Energy SA, which combines Ameresco and SUNEL Group, and the EPC contract covers design, procurement, construction, commissioning and long‑term operation and maintenance. The project adds to TDI Renewables’ portfolio of utility‑scale solar assets across Europe and is slated for completion within the next 12‑18 months. The partnership leverages Ameresco’s global energy‑infrastructure expertise and SUNEL Group’s regional presence, reinforcing their expansion in Central and Eastern Europe’s renewable market. No financial terms were disclosed, and the agreement was announced in a press release on 9 August 2026.
