American Airlines signs eSAF offtake agreement with Infinium for Project Roadrunner

American Airlines has an offtake agreement for commercial volumes of electro-sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) from Infinium's Project Roadrunner. Project Roadrunner is currently under construction and is expected to begin eSAF production and deliveries in 2027. Once fully operational, the project is anticipated to produce over 5 million gallons of eSAF annually. This agreement aims to reduce Scope 3 emissions from employee travel for American Airlines, supported in part by a separate agreement with Citi.
