Ammper Generación to develop 94.5 MWdc Altair Solar PV project with BESS in Querétaro, Mexico

Ammper Generación is developing the Altair Solar Photovoltaic Plant, a 94.5 MWdc solar project with a 24 MW / 146.5 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), in Colón, Querétaro, Mexico. The project, with an estimated total investment of 1,401,624,000 Mexican pesos, has entered the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure with Semarnat. It will feature 131,236 bifacial Trina Solar TSM-720NEG21C.20 modules on single-axis trackers and 18 Power Electronics central inverters. The infrastructure includes a substation and a 3.96 km transmission line connecting to CFE's Ezequiel Montes substation. Construction is planned for 36 months, with an operational life of at least 30 years, after which the site may be restored to agricultural use.
