Antin Infrastructure Partners to sell Idex to Infrastructure Investments Fund
Type: Sale · Technology: Water Waste · Country: France · Announced: 2026-08-05
Antin Infrastructure Partners has entered exclusive negotiations to sell Idex, its France‑based European energy infrastructure platform, to Infrastructure Investments Fund. Idex operates 60 district heating and cooling networks, 32 energy production plants and 13 energy‑from‑waste facilities serving 18,000 buildings across France, Belgium, Lithuania and Italy. The platform’s renewable and waste‑derived energy share rose to 65% in its district heating and cooling business between 2018 and 2025, underscoring its role in the regional decarbonisation effort. The transaction will transfer a portfolio of district heating, cooling, and waste‑to‑energy assets to IIF, expanding the fund’s exposure to utility‑scale energy infrastructure. No financial terms were disclosed, and the deal is being pursued on behalf of Antin’s Flagship Fund III and Fund III‑B.
