Apraava Energy has acquired Ananthpuram Transmission Limited to own and develop a 765 kV interstate transmission project in Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh. The project will includes roughly 250 ckm of high‑voltage transmission lines and a 4,500 MVA pooling station to facilitate renewable energy integration. The concession runs for 35 years, creating jobs and expanding Andhra Pradesh's grid capacity. The acquisition strengthens Apraava Energy's position in India's transmission sector and supports the state's renewable power growth. The deal was announced in a SolarQuarter press release on 5 August 2026.
