Arcus Infrastructure Partners acquires majority stake in TrueNoord
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Transport · Country: Netherlands · Announced: 2026-04-30
Arcus Infrastructure Partners agreed to acquire approximately 74% of TrueNoord, a leading specialist lessor of regional aircraft operating across Europe and North America, for an undisclosed sum. The transaction marks Arcus' second investment in its AEIF4 fund, which reached a €3bn hard cap in December 2025. TrueNoord manages a fleet of 111 turboprop and regional jet aircraft leased to 37 airlines across 25 countries under long-term agreements of up to 15 years. The company's modern, fuel-efficient fleet and disciplined fleet management have demonstrated resilience through economic cycles, including the COVID-19 pandemic, with high fleet utilization and strong lease renewal dynamics. Arcus highlighted TrueNoord's critical role in providing socially and economically essential medium-haul connectivity, supported by constrained new-build supply and growing demand for asset-light fleet solutions. The deal is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory and other conditions precedent, with multiple financial and legal advisors engaged in the transaction.
