Arcus Infrastructure Partners and Portus Data Centers finalized an €80 million financing package to fund the Munich 2 (MUC2) data center project in Germany. The financing includes a €70 million capex facility and a €10 million revolving credit facility, with an additional €200 million uncommitted accordion for future growth. The MUC2 project involves constructing a 5.5MW colocation facility at Portus' existing Munich campus, expected to commence operations in Q1 2027. The facility will deliver high-performance IT capacity to the Munich market, addressing persistent demand for resilient data center infrastructure. The financing was arranged by NIBC, Rabobank, and UniCredit, with Macquarie Capital and White & Case LLP advising Portus, while Ashurst provided legal counsel to the lenders.
