Arcus Infrastructure Partners to acquire Volta Data Centres from Verne
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Data Center · Country: United Kingdom · Announced: 2026-07-02
Arcus Infrastructure Partners, through its Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 4 (AEIF4), has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Volta Data Centres from Verne. The acquisition targets the 6MW carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection facility located in central London, which serves financial services, telecoms, IT, and enterprise sectors. This deal builds on Arcus' existing colocation expertise and aligns with its AEIF4 investment strategy, focusing on critical digital infrastructure in a key European market. Verne's strategic decision to divest Volta allows the company to concentrate its investment and resources on developing low-carbon, high-density data centre infrastructure across Northern Europe. The transaction is expected to complete in July 2026, subject to contractual requirements.
