Ardian, through its Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), has acquired two operational solar photovoltaic plants in Uruguay from Atlas Renewable Energy for a total of 75.8 MWp. This marks ACEEF's first direct investment in the Uruguayan renewable market. The acquired assets include the El Naranjal park (58.8 MWp) and the Del Litoral park (17 MWp), located in the department of Salto and occupying approximately 190 hectares. El Naranjal, operational since 2017, has a 30-year PPA awarded by UTE in 2014, while Del Litoral is situated in the Termas del Daymán area.
