Arteche finalized the acquisition of 100% of SEG Electronics GmbH from AURELIUS Private Equity Lower Midmarket for €50.6 million, gaining a German manufacturer specializing in medium-voltage protection relays for electrical grids. The deal includes SEG's subsidiaries in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, expanding Arteche's operational footprint across three continents. SEG, founded in 1969 and headquartered in Kempen, Germany, operates a central production plant in Germany with commercial hubs in the U.S., Poland, and the Middle East, serving over 350 clients globally. The acquisition strengthens Arteche's automation and digitalization offerings for transmission and distribution networks, particularly in high-growth segments such as data centers requiring ultra-reliable energy infrastructure.
