AT&T signs supply agreement with Airspan for DAS deployment at Davis Wade Stadium

Type: Supply Agreement · Technology: Telecom · Country: United States · Announced: 2026-08-10

AT&T signed a supply agreement with Airspan Networks Holdings LLC to provide its MobileAccess 6000 Digital DAS for a neutral‑host network at Mississippi State University’s Davis Wade Stadium. The system includes a 53‑sector MIMO architecture supporting mid‑band spectrum including C‑Band, 3.45 GHz and 2.5 GHz, and uses a compact head‑end to fit the constrained equipment space of the 60,000‑plus seat venue. The deployment, carried out in partnership with M‑Communications, will deliver high‑capacity, multi‑operator cellular connectivity for football games, concerts and other large events. AT&T’s investment follows its broader Mississippi rollout, where it has spent nearly $1.4 billion on wireless and wireline infrastructure between 2021 and 2025. The deal positions AT&T as the neutral‑host provider, enhancing fan experience and stadium operations while expanding its 5G footprint in the region. No financial terms were disclosed, and the contract was announced on 10 August 2026.
