Atlante España partners with Audasa to develop ultra‑fast EV charging stations on the AP‑9 corridor in Galicia

Atlante España announced the development of a new ultra‑fast electric‑vehicle charging station in O Burgo, Culleredo, in partnership with the regional utility Audasa. The installation includes 16 ultra‑fast charging points, and together with a second site in San Simón (Pontevedra) the network will total 32 points along the AP‑9 corridor. The project is part of Audasa’s electrification strategy to reinforce electric mobility on the Atlantic Highway, one of the main north‑west Spanish transport arteries. Minister Jordi Hereu inaugurated the O Burgo station on 15 July 2026, highlighting the rapid growth of electric‑vehicle sales to 21.8 % of the market.
