Aurora Solar announced software platform updates for the U.S., U.K. and Europe that will allow installers to include home electrification products such as HVAC systems, EV chargers, and battery storage within a single solar sales proposal. The company incorporated new financing methods including prepaid leases and PPAs, and launched an embeddable lead capture tool for installers. Aurora also introduced improvements to drone mapping to convert scans into designs for its quote tool. The changes respond to shifts in homeowner demand occurring before the end of the Section 25D tax credit and in anticipation of the Section 48E credit ending in 14 months. Aurora's 2026 Solar Snapshot report indicates 65% of solar sales professionals expect more than half of their 2026 projects to use third-party ownership (TPO) financing models.
