The City of Livermore authorized its City Manager on 2024-07-14 to sign a 25-year PPA with Ava Community Energy under which Ava will own, operate and maintain new solar generation and battery storage systems at the civic center meeting hall and the maintenance service center, with the city paying fixed kilowatt-hour and storage rates and expecting $28,975 in savings over the contract.
