Avantus closes financing for Kitt solar and energy storage project

Avantus secured a financing package of over $300 million from Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, New York Branch (CIBC) to fund the 100 MWac/130 MWdc solar plus 400 MWh storage Kitt hybrid project in Pinal County, Arizona, which is under construction and has an offtake PPA with Arizona Public Service.
