Type: Supply Agreement · Technology: Gas · Country: United States · Announced: 2026-07-27
Baker Hughes signed a supply agreement with Venture Global LNG to provide liquefaction technology for the CP2 LNG project expansion in Louisiana. The order, booked in the second quarter of 2026, covers equipment for six liquefaction blocks, each built around two single mixed‑refrigerant (SMR) modules, plus compression trains, cold boxes, air coolers and integrated control systems. The contract brings Baker Hughes' total scope on the CP2 project to 12 liquefaction modules under the existing master equipment supply agreement. The deal reinforces the long‑standing partnership between the two firms and supports Venture Global's goal of scaling modular LNG solutions to boost U.S. export capacity. Both parties highlighted the importance of reliable, affordable and flexible energy to meet growing global demand.
