BASF SE and ENGIE S.A. signed a 7-year biomethane purchase agreement under which ENGIE will supply BASF with 2.7–3.0 TWh of certified biomethane for BASF’s Ludwigshafen (Germany) and Antwerp (Belgium) sites to substitute fossil feedstocks and reduce product carbon footprints.
