Bayou Best Foods completed the acquisition of BettaF!sh, a Berlin-based manufacturer of plant-based seafood alternatives including Tu-Nah (tuna alternative) and Sal-Mon (salmon alternative) formulated with seaweed. The deal expands Bayou Best Foods' portfolio beyond its existing plant-based shrimp offerings, with plans to introduce BettaF!sh's products to its US foodservice network. BettaF!sh, founded and led by Deniz Ficicioglu, will leverage Bayou Best Foods' distribution channels to reach more customers in Europe and the US.
