Big Digital Energy and 10NetZero form joint venture to acquire land for 311MW AI-ready data center campus in Hood County, Texas
Type: Partnership · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Capacity: 311 MW · Announced: 2026-07-06
Big Digital Energy, Inc. and 10NetZero entered a 50:50 joint venture to acquire a 50-acre powered industrial site in Hood County, Texas, for development into a 311MW AI-ready data center campus. The existing 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sqm) structures will be repurposed, with current operational power of 17MW upgradable to 111MW of grid power and an option to add behind-the-meter natural gas power to reach 311MW. The partnership leverages Big Digital's powered land expertise and 10NetZero's energy-infrastructure capabilities, particularly its Digital Midstream platform for converting stranded natural gas into electricity. The site is strategically positioned to serve AI tenants years ahead of comparable greenfield projects, with plans to move quickly on development. Big Digital also engaged Northland Capital Markets as a financial advisor to evaluate AI/high-performance computing uses for its power assets and explore site-level financing and partnership opportunities.
