Blackstone Infrastructure acquired a 24.7 percent minority stake in Eurowind Energy, a Danish developer of renewable-energy parks, following regulatory approval. The investment commits up to DKK 15 billion ($2.3 billion) to accelerate Eurowind Energy's growth across Europe. Blackstone's Adam Kuhnley was appointed to Eurowind Energy's board of directors, with Yannick Alexander Heyl serving as a board observer. The capital will support Eurowind Energy's goal to become a leading pan-European independent power producer, targeting average annual delivery of 1.5 gigawatts of new wind, solar, and battery capacity through 2030.
