Brixton (Heathrow Estate) Ltd, a subsidiary of California-based real estate investment firm Kennedy Wilson, secured approval from Hounslow Council on August 6, 2026, to construct a 50,000 sqm (538,195 sq ft) data center campus on the Haslemere Heathrow Estate in west London. The project, known as the Heathrow Estate Data Center, will require 64MW of electricity and deliver 48MW of IT load at a targeted Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.35. The development will replace existing industrial warehouses and is expected to generate material Community Infrastructure Levy payments, higher Business Rates income, and create skilled local jobs. Kennedy Wilson, which previously applied for a 73MW data center campus in Slough, UK, stated that a specific operator will be selected through a reserved matters process to manage the bespoke data center scheme.
