CATL to supply Tener S battery systems for Quinbrook's Supernode Stage 3 in Queensland

CATL announced it will supply its newer Tener S battery systems for Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners' Supernode Stage 3 project in Southeast Queensland. The Stage 3 facility adds 260 MW of power and 1,216 MWh of storage capacity, completing the 780 MW/3,074 MWh Supernode campus. The supply is part of a Long‑Term Service Agreement that follows CATL's earlier provision of EnerC Plus systems for Stages 1 and 2. The deal supports Queensland’s transition to a more flexible and resilient energy system by expanding large‑scale battery storage. No financial terms were disclosed, and the agreement was announced on 17 August 2026.
