Centralines and Lodestone Energy finalized financial close on the Central Hawke's Bay Solar Farm, a 50:50 joint venture utility-scale solar project in New Zealand's Hawke's Bay region. The project, once operational, will generate enough renewable electricity to power approximately 7,000 homes and will supply power directly into Centralines' network, enhancing local renewable generation and energy resilience. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026, with completion expected to strengthen Central Hawke’s Bay’s energy independence and retain economic benefits within the local community. ASB Bank provided funding for the project, supported by legal, financial, insurance, and commercial partners throughout the development process. The initiative aligns with Centralines' long-term strategy to deliver locally generated electricity while maximizing community and economic benefits.
