Chint Solar Europe sells German battery storage portfolio to Flower Infrastructure Technologies

Chint Solar Europe agreed to sell a portfolio of seven ready-to-build battery energy storage system (BESS) projects to Flower Infrastructure Technologies, totaling 112 MW / 332.5 MWh. The projects are located across municipalities in Thuringia, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Hesse and range in size from 6 MW to 48 MW with three- to four-hour storage durations. All sites have secured planning approvals and grid connections, with commissioning scheduled throughout 2027. The transaction expands Flower’s emerging battery storage platform in Germany and allows Chint Solar to focus on its growing European pipeline, which now includes 168 MW under construction and over 1 GW in development.
