Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) secured a PHP 4.05 billion (~ $65.66 million) project finance loan from LANDBANK. This financing will support the development of two embedded solar power projects in Central Luzon, Philippines. The projects include solar installations with a total capacity of 82 MW and a battery energy storage system totaling 106 MWh. Located in Pampanga and Nueva Ecija, these projects are developed with PELCO I and SAJELCO through Citicore Solar Embedded. The facilities will connect directly to local distribution utilities to enhance grid efficiency and comply with Renewable Portfolio Standards.
