The City of Cambridge, through its Cambridge Community Electricity program and the Consortium for Climate Solutions partners, executed long-term virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) to procure renewable energy and RECs from the Prairie Solar (Illinois) and Bowman Wind (North Dakota) projects to make municipal electricity net zero and supply community electricity customers.
