US mobile virtual network provider (MVNO) MobileX has confirmed a strategic investment from Charlie Ergen's special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC), CONX. The investment, reportedly worth around $200 million, injects new capital to accelerate MobileX's growth phase. As part of the agreement, Charlie Ergen and CONX CEO Jason Kiser will join the MobileX board of directors. This investment will enable MobileX to expand its AI-powered technology platform, grow distribution, and enhance its competitive offering in the wireless industry.
