CPS Energy expanded its existing PPA with Avangrid by adding 159.2 MW of wind capacity from the Peñascal wind farm in Kenedy County, Texas, bringing its contracted Avangrid capacity to 320 MW (80% of the 401 MW facility) and the utility's total wind portfolio to 1,067 MW; the additional energy connected to CPS Energy's system on April 1, 2025.
