CVC DIF plans to acquire a majority stake in EcoEridania, an Italian vertically integrated medical waste platform, through its DIF Infrastructure VIII fund. The transaction involves the indirect disposal of a 75 percent interest in EcoEridania by an affiliate of iCON Infrastructure. EcoEridania, founded in 1988 in Genoa, provides end-to-end waste collection, transportation, storage, treatment, recovery, and disposal services to healthcare institutions and industrial customers nationwide. The investment is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 and marks CVC DIF’s first investment in Italy since opening its Milan office in late 2024. Andrea Giustini, founder and CEO of EcoEridania, will increase his material minority stake in the business as part of the transaction.
