Daimler Truck Own Retail, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, acquired eStar Truck & Van Ltd. effective May 1, 2026, marking its entry into the British market. The acquisition includes six locations in the Greater Manchester and Liverpool regions: Knowsley Truck, Knowsley Van, Stoke-on-Trent, Deeside, Trafford Park, and Skelmersdale. These sites will offer sales of new and used Mercedes-Benz and FUSO trucks and vans, as well as service and original parts supply for Mercedes-Benz and FUSO trucks, Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses, and Mercedes-Benz vans. This strategic expansion aims to strengthen Daimler Truck's own retail network in Europe, increasing its service share and resilience in one of Europe's largest and most dynamic truck and van markets. The acquired network ensures operational continuity, with all over 300 employees of eStar Truck & Van Ltd. transitioning to Daimler Truck's organization.
