DataBank files development application for 200MW data center campus in Cartersville, Georgia

US data center operator DataBank filed a Development of Regional Impact application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs to develop a 200MW data center campus named Project Indo in Cartersville, Georgia. The 1.1 million sq ft campus will be built on 69 acres at 218 Industrial Park Road, with the first phase expected to launch in 2032. The project is valued at $2.4 billion at full build-out and includes a 288MW utility grid connection filing. DataBank currently operates six data centers in the Atlanta metro area totaling 177MW across 751,270 sq ft, making this its largest and most distant site from downtown Atlanta.
