Dell Technologies announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics to supply standardized infrastructure for AI-driven semiconductor manufacturing. The infrastructure will support Samsung’s digital twin, real-time analytics, and agentic AI tools across its research, design, and production systems. Dell will provide compute, storage, and data movement solutions optimized for AI models and critical systems running simultaneously. The collaboration aims to enhance Samsung’s ability to monitor operations, detect anomalies, and automate process tuning through AI. Speaking at Dell Technology World in Las Vegas, Sam Grocott, SVP of product marketing at Dell, emphasized the need for scalable and reliable infrastructure to support AI adoption in semiconductor manufacturing. Dr. Yong-Ho Song, executive vice president at Samsung Electronics, highlighted the role of AI in transforming semiconductor design and production, requiring robust infrastructure for scalability and predictability.
