DigiCo Infrastructure REIT sells Chicago data center for $750 million
Type: Sale · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Value: $750M · Announced: 2026-05-06
DigiCo Infrastructure REIT has entered into a binding agreement to sell its Chicago (CHI1) data center facility for $750 million to an unnamed North American fund manager. The sale price represents approximately a five percent premium on the site's acquisition cost in November 2024. The transaction is anticipated to reach financial close in Q1 FY27. The facility, a 32MW development by Prologis in partnership with Skybox Datacenters, was converted from a former industrial warehouse in Elk Grove. This divestment provides DigiCo with financial flexibility to accelerate its data center expansion in Sydney, Australia.
