DOF Group wins TotalEnergies contract for FSO Unity Replacement project

DOF Group secured a contract from TotalEnergies to deliver subsea construction and mooring services for the FSO Unity Replacement Project, valued between $50 million and $100 million. The scope covers engineering, transportation and installation of mooring systems, as well as disconnection of the existing floating storage and offloading unit and connection of its replacement. Project management and engineering will start from DOF’s offices in Aberdeen, Scotland and Bergen, Norway, with offshore operations slated for Q4 2027 and Q1 2028. The four‑vessel deployment, amounting to roughly 330 vessel days, underlines DOF’s integrated offshore execution capability. The deal expands TotalEnergies’ asset renewal programme for its offshore storage fleet and strengthens DOF’s position in the subsea services market. No advisors or lenders were disclosed in the announcement.
