Dolomiti Energia acquires 100% of NB7 Srl from Development Italy Srl, a company of the German Steag Iqony group. The acquisition gives Dolomiti Energia the authorization for a 20 MW solar photovoltaic plant located in Montecchio Emilia, Reggio Emilia. The plant will be built on a former extraction site and construction is slated to start in the coming months, with completion expected between late 2027 and early 2028. The deal aligns with Dolomiti Energia’s 2030 strategic plan to expand its renewable portfolio in Italy. The transaction follows Dolomiti Energia’s November 2025 purchase of a 75 % stake in Epico Solar Development, adding 6.3 MW of operating solar assets and 3 MW of authorized projects to its pipeline. No financial terms were disclosed and the parties did not announce advisors.
