Dome Solar acquires Mounting Systems' assets including LightX and FD3 technologies

French photovoltaic rooftop mounting systems specialist Dome Solar acquired key strategic assets from German manufacturer Mounting Systems GmbH, including the company's brand, intellectual property, and two proprietary weighted mounting technologies: LightX and FD3. The deal enables Dome Solar to integrate Mounting Systems' German-engineered solutions into its portfolio, expanding its offerings to include the industry's most comprehensive range of rooftop mounting systems. Mounting Systems brings a global track record of over 8,000 projects totaling 13 GW deployed across 70 countries, with its systems recognized for structural calculation precision and long-term durability. Dome Solar's CEO Josselin Noire emphasized the acquisition's focus on accelerating project execution for installers and EPC contractors by reducing on-site complexity and installation times. The transaction positions Dome Solar to scale industrial production and expand into high-growth markets including Southern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and North Africa, while maintaining strong positions in mature markets such as Germany, Austria, Benelux, the UK, Nordic countries, and Italy.
