Driveco partners with Orus Energy to develop flexible electric vehicle charging

Driveco and Orus Energy announced a partnership to advance flexible electric vehicle charging in France. Driveco operates more than 350 charging stations and will collaborate with Orus Energy on electric grid flexibility solutions. The joint effort includes installing charging points under photovoltaic canopies that currently cover 5% of parking spaces. By coordinating charging with periods of high renewable generation, the partnership aims to shift up to 10 GW of peak demand. This initiative supports France's goal of integrating renewable energy and managing future EV load growth.
