DRIVN and AVG Logistics partner to deploy 100 electric trucks in India

DRIVN, an EV leasing platform specializing in heavy commercial fleets, has signed a partnership agreement with AVG Logistics, a listed logistics company, to deploy 100 electric trucks across India. The first 30 trucks are scheduled to enter service in August 2026, with the remaining 70 vehicles to be deployed in subsequent phases. The partnership aims to scale electric truck adoption in commercial freight operations by combining AVG Logistics' operational expertise with DRIVN's vehicle financing and leasing model. DRIVN's co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Alpna Jain, emphasized that the collaboration focuses on making electric truck leasing commercially viable for fleet operators through tailored financing structures and use cases. AVG Logistics' Chief Strategy Officer and ESG Head, Vinayak Gupta, highlighted the initiative's role in supporting efficient and sustainable freight operations at scale.
