Type: Financing · Technology: Defense · Country: Germany/Denmark/Europe · Value: EUR 455M · Announced: 2026-09-24

DTCP announced the first close of DTCP Defence Fund I on 24 September 2026, securing €455m in commitments from investors including Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), Danica, Deutsche Telekom, Porsche SE and Estonia’s SmartCap. EIFO committed DKK500m and Danica committed DKK375m as part of the fundraise focused on early-growth and growth-stage defence technology companies across Europe. The fund has already invested in Norwegian Six Robotics and UK-based Kraken Technology Group and has a third investment underway, with at least 75% of investments earmarked for Europe and the remainder for NATO members and close allies. DTCP said the fund targets companies developing AI, autonomous systems, cyber defence, secure communications and space technology to help scale production and international growth across European defence supply chains. The fund expects a final close in Q1 2027 and will open a Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen in H1 2027 to support investments near the Baltic region.
