Eaton announced a partnership with FranklinWH to integrate Eaton’s AbleEdge smart breakers into the FranklinWH residential solar and battery system. The combined solution enables intelligent load management and virtual power plant functionality for new‑construction and retrofit projects in the United States. Homeowners will be able to use the FranklinWH app to install, commission, monitor and extend backup duration during grid outages. The collaboration supports Eaton’s Home as a Grid strategy and FranklinWH’s goal to provide whole‑home backup that blends solar, grid and generator power. Eaton will serve as the exclusive load‑management supplier for FranklinWH, allowing contractors across North America to source the smart breakers directly.
